Create your first app screenshots

Start with captures from your own app. This guide covers creating an editable set, reviewing it, and exporting files for a store listing.

1. Create a set

From the dashboard, hit New set, name it, and pick your primary store. You get one screen to start; add more from the left panel. Everything autosaves — locally always, and to the cloud when you're signed in.

2. Upload your app screenshots

Select a screen, then use the inspector's device section to upload a raw screenshot (a plain capture from your phone or simulator — no framing needed). The device mockup wraps it automatically. A device with no screenshot renders as a blank black screen — upload one per device, or compose a text-only screen instead.

3. Say it with a caption

Double-click any caption to edit it in place. Wrap a phrase in **stars** to give it the accent emphasis. Keep headlines to about six words — the store thumbnail is small.

4. Let the AI do a pass

The AI button in the top bar runs on your set:

• Auto-design — describe the app once; it lays out the full narrative across screens.
• Captions — variants for every headline, in your chosen tone.
• Audit — a 0–100 critique with concrete fixes it can apply for you.

5. Style the set, not the screen

Set styles applies a five-screen narrative template; the Brand section restyles every screen from your primary color. Tilt and pose presets live in the device section — spanning a device across two screens is one click.

6. Preview, then ship

Preview shows the set inside a mock App Store / Play listing — including the search crop that decides your tap-through. Then Export:

• Download — PNG/JPEG files in a ZIP, watermark-free. Studio exports one size at a time; paid plans add batch sizes. Use the screenshot sizing guide to choose the right preset.
• Publish to stores — connect App Store Connect or Play Console once in Settings, then push renders straight at your listing. See Publishing to stores.
