App Store Connect

You will connect AppStaged using three values: an Issuer ID, a Key ID, and a .p8 private key file. Keep them together until setup is complete.

1. Open team API keys

In App Store Connect, open Users and Access → Integrations → App Store Connect API → Team Keys.

If API access is not enabled, the Account Holder must request it first. An Account Holder or Admin can generate a team key after access is approved.

2. Generate a key

Choose Generate API Key (or +), name it “AppStaged,” select App Manager under Access, and generate it. Team keys apply across the account’s apps.

3. Collect the credentials

Copy the Issuer ID and Key ID. Download the .p8 key file; Apple allows only one download. If you lose it, create a replacement key.

4. Connect AppStaged

Open Settings → Connections, choose Connect App Store Connect, and enter the Issuer ID and Key ID. Upload your .p8 file and connect.

AppStaged checks the credentials with Apple. Once connected, return to your set and open its export dialog to choose an app and publish. See Publishing to stores before replacing a listing’s screenshots.

If connection fails

Check that all three values belong to the same team key, that the key is still active, and that you selected the intended developer team. A personal Apple password or an individual API key does not replace the team credentials required by this form.
